My husband and I purchased the business in March of 2005 in hopes of finding joy and excitement in being entrepreneurs. Salem can be found north of Boston, MA, along the beautiful coastline of Massachusetts. In Salem, the Black Paw is nested on Pickering Wharf, along Salem’s waterfront. The store is open year round, with limited hours of operation during the winter months. We carry a little bit for every season, most notably Halloween, along with gifts for all occasions.

Here at the Black Paw, we carry an assortment of candles like Colonial Candles of Cape Cod. We carry an array of tea light candleholders with dragons, fairies, and Halloween shapes. We sell tees and sweatshirts with many unique designs and logos all year long, to allow you to dress for the ever-changing New England weather.
